Mountain Mama unfolds across three skateboard decks as a quiet alpine landscape slowly reveals its hidden figure. Built from original nineteenth-century photographs, layered mountain ranges and misted forests merge with the serene face of a woman resting within the terrain.

The composition moves from dense timber in the foreground to softened peaks in the distance, allowing the human presence to emerge subtly from the land itself. Rather than placing the figure onto the landscape, the collage fuses them, suggesting memory, ancestry, and nature as inseparable forces.

Printed on natural maple, the grain of the wood becomes part of the atmosphere, reinforcing the aged quality of the imagery. Mountain Mama feels both archival and alive, a meditation on landscape as mother, body, and myth.
